Ed`s Diner in Soutd San Francisco

The food was bad I ordered chicken fried steak the meat was not chewable it was old hard couldn’t even cut a piece toast was all soft not even toasted and potatoes were black

Jin, Joon, Poncho, Diana and Iumey are the greatest staff and we mustn't forget Martin in the back, I have been coming here for years always great service

A real local diner. The the perfect place for breakfast.

Not a clean place. The restroom and the kitchen are in the same area. I went to wash my hands and realized that the pilled potatoes bucket is next to the door of the restroom. It’s just disgusting and there’s no hygiene care of any form there. Disappointing.

The people who work at Ed's Diner ate very nice but it is very filthy and greasy and the food is mediocre. It has lots of room for improvement. If it gets cleaned up and the quality of the food goes up.

Really good diner food. Breakfast is always good. My eggs are always perfect. Burgers are good. Sandwiches are good. And the service is always great.

Great teeny diner with fast, friendly service, plentiful coffee and hearty servings. Very clean and the food is always fresh. I come during lunch break from Sunday wine classes at the SF Wine School & it's always a treat.

The omelettes are huge and delicious 🤤 could only eat half and couldn’t even eat the hash browns, sharing would’ve been better for me. Overall great service and quick. I didn’t like coffee but my husband did, I would’ve liked it stronger... we will be back 👍

In my opinion if you are not 15 minutes early you are late.....arriving at the time you open is not the way to run a business 👎but the food and services is most excellent 👍

Corned beef hash, hashbrowns and eggs.

Very expensive for a simple breakfast. Almost $20.00 for 1 person; 2 eggs, hash browns, sausages, toast, small oj and they're small cup of weak coffee. I'll go to Denny's from now on.

Always a great place to enjoy a home style meal. Nice and friendly place. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

True classic downtown diner! Nice selection of menu items at a good price. Very friendly staff with lots of regular local customers. It really doesn't get much better than this, if you're looking for a break from glitzy froo-froo eateries in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Excellent homemade desserts- Pop tarts and Ding Dongs. You name it. A gem in downtown LA. Excellent service and food. Worth the time and travel. Millennial hangout. Crowded on the weekends. Best times to go during the week days.

Great food, quick service! Don’t let the small restaurant turn you down, they sat us right when we walked in and got our food to us within 10 minutes of ordering. Great home style cooking! Definitely a hidden gem.

This venue serves wonderful and healthy food loaded with vegetables. The quality is excellent. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The coffee is also great!

The chorizo onion mushroom and cheese omelette was the best!! Great service from the staff as well. Loved it!

All the food we had was delicious. The waitress was super nice, kept refilling our coffee and water and kept asking how we were doing. Great food and service will make me come back when I'm in town.

I love going to Ed's for breakfast. The bacon is always cooked to perfection and the hash-browns are the best! Highly recommended.

This place has all the elements of a good old fashioned American diner. There is a bar that is right next to the kitchen so you can see your food being made in real time. The coffee is bottemless, the service is fast and the good food is quite tasty. I reccomend the country style corn beef hash!

Food was delicious! Super Mario omelette was perfect I wasnt a big fan of their hash browns. Service was fast and diner was clean but small. Lady was nice and attentive. I will come back to try more dishes.
